Subject: Greater China Marketing Announcement

Team,

It is with regret that we announce that Marvin Chow will be leaving Nike.

Marvin, who joined Nike in 2003 as Special Projects Director in Global Brand, has recently held several positions within Asia including Marketing Director for Korea, Japan, and most recently Greater China. Marvin has achieved many accomplishments during his 7 year tenure and has been a great contributor to Nike China’s success. We will miss his leadership, friendship, and commitment to the Nike Brand. Please join us in thanking Marvin for his contributions over the past 7 years and wish him well on his future endeavors.

Marvin is leaving behind a strong and successful Marketing team in Greater China. Please provide your support to the Greater China Marketing team during this transition. A new Greater China Marketing Director will be announced shortly.

Joaquin Hidalgo
VP, Global Brand Marketing

Willem Haitink
VP/GM, Greater China

7 years older and 20lbs lighter… I will always be a huge ambassador of the Nike Brand and I leave a better man, a more experienced marketer and with a lifetime of friends and memories. Thank you.

apparetly in shanghai the need for repair trucks with fancy lifts or even ladders are unneccessary as they two repair guys just hang from the power lines – classic!!
