FREAKIN’ AMAZING. it’s so big, i couldn’t even take the whole picture. 16km across and the last eruption was in 2004. Isabella Island, Galapagos. we hiked up 8km in terrain that varied from mud to volcanic rock and did another 4km on horseback. a crazy tiring day but totally worth it. more to come…
On the patio of our waterfront hotel is this super cute sea lion (who is also a great barking alarm clock at 6a).
Walking back to my hotel and spotted this group of about 25 rowdy people boarding the max train at 10th and alder … As they say PORTLAND IS WEIRD :)
On top of shanghai’s tallest builing in pudong. 3rd tallest in the world (I think).
pretty interesting and well done. think about where you were and what you were doing the last decade and you were probably talking about one of these things :)

We read about the chance to shoot all kinds of guns at the Shanghai and were intrigued (ok, I was intrigued – she was whatever). For $65 bucks we shot 12 rounds of a .357 magnum and 20 rounds of an old school walther. It was far from the Gun Club environment I remember from Beverly Hills Cop! It was a dank old buidling down a shady alley. Pretty grungy with old Chinese guys dressed in second hand army fatigues yelling at you – not premium at all but how often do we get to do this. Our results were fair with some shots majorly off target and some respectably in the inner circle. It was her first time shooting and she didn’t appreciate it that my much. Overall we don’t recommend unless you really have the urge to get our some aggression!!
