Welcome to Lane 225 in Shanghai’s TaiKang Lu area. We think we are the only foreigners here which makes it extra special. Our neighbors are a little loud, kinda noisy and play mah jjong right in front of our apartment – but it’s home! We love it!!

is huh?? Peanut Butter and Hot Sauce??

At our local grocery store, I saw this promotional pack of peanut butter and Chinese “la jiao” which a spicy hot sauce/paste. Sounds not tasty to me! Can you say Imventory Clearance!
