JiYoung’s sister came to visit us in shanghai. She’s pretty cool, likes to shop, is a lot of fun and loves hotpot too. It was a great weekend!

At the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix, Liu Xiang made his first return to the track after pulling out of the 2008 Olympics with an injury. As the hero of a nation, “he’s just trying to get back to where is was. The stadium was electric and he ran a 13.15 which was literally a hair slower than winner Trummel. To capture the moment, we ran this just before the race.

JiYoung had her first EVER tennis lesson with Joy and it was great. It started off a little rocky with some difficulty on the basic ball bouncing but by the end of the hour, she was knockin’ them back from the baseline. As teacher said, “she’s really smart!”
