a beautiful sunday had JiYoung and I walking around Hiroo in search of some good tacos, a cup of coffee and some fresh spring air. It was exactly how a spring day in Tokyo should be and quietly ended with JY, drunk at 19.30. Happy Spring!!

with our super VP, DG in town with his traveling digital sidekick, RJE – the marketing crew headed to dinner in full force. 48 of us descended upon some unexpected izakaya for some food, drinks and laughs. it was great to get away from the office and from the looks of things – everyone agreed!

One awesome side benefit of the Helicopter Horseback Riding trip was the nearby strawberry fields which are all you can eat for $10. The strawberries were HUGE and equally delicious!!

My new Fixie or “piste” as they say in Tokyo. This no fly-wheel bike is my attempt to clear my head, enjoy the weather, the cityscape and get in shape! A lot for one bike i know but after a couple of rides, i’m just confident enough to be dangerous! mine has breaks (for now) but Uchi has other plans for those. This weekend i picked up a new seat and some cool LED lights. let the racing begin!

everyone always says that denny’s in Tokyo is not the same as the US … and boy are they right. no grand slam breakfast but we had some delicious steak, rice and udon – all delicious!! but I’m happy to say, the coffee is still the same- very good!!

a beautiful day and ironically the Japanese cherry blossoms are in full bloom – in Portland?!?!?!?! crazy but beautiful!!
