Are you Right Brain or Left Brain?
26.11.2007
i found this interesting article online which gave a simple test to find out which is more dominant – the left side or the right side of your brain.
Look at the animated picture below. Do you see the dancer spinning to the right – clockwise… or to the left – counter clockwise?? If clockwise, then you are right brain dominant. To the left/counter-clockwise, then vice versa. Just the initial look. If you concentrate, you can obviously see the dancer spin either way.
ENJOY!.

Bum Chang and SoYoung’s Wedding
24.11.2007
Back in Korea for a couple of days for BumChang (brother) and SoYoung’s wedding. It was a great time and so nice to see all the Korean family. SoYoung was such a cute bride. BumChang was a smiling groom. JiYoung scored a beautiful dress from Christian Dior and looked stunning. I had some AWESOME food while there. So much fun… See the rest of the photos here.
Look Mom, No Hands!!
21.11.2007
Played Mah Jjong last night with some of the Nike boys. Three rounds in 5 hours and aside from a flew glimmers of brilliance, i GOT MY ASS KICKED!! Crazy japanese rules kept throwing me off. What the hell is a Yakult anyway!??!!?
But the AWESOME thing was these crazy automated Mah Jjong tables. No loud shuffling and the games go by so fast!! No time to even pee!! After the round, the whole in the middle opens up. You push the tiles in and it starts to shuffle. Then a second set comes out from the table, shuffled and ready to go! CRAZY!! What will the japanese think of next!?!!?

2007 Tokyo Motor Show
10.11.2007
My first visit to the Tokyo Motor Show. They say that Tokyo and Germany are the best motor shows in the world and thought i’m not an expert, I’d have to agree. First off, IT’S HUGE!! Secondly the cars really showed a vision of the future from both an aesthetic and functional point of view. Obviously personalization was a given. Utility was a key focus. Iconic, humanistic design. And clearly the focus was on the hardware as the Racing Girls were so-so!!
Favorites were the Toyota booth for innovative thought and futuristic insights from Hybrid as a given to strong insights into how people use cars. Nissan was also good. The rest were expected. Suzuki was a pleasant surprise. The biggest disappointment was Jeep, bringing pretty much nothing new, interesting or unexpected. Check out the full set of photos.
A Trip to Kamakura
04.11.2007
On a beautiful autumn day we headed to Kamakura with some friends of JiYoung’s to have lunch and catch the sites. This small seaside town is home to some of Japan’s best surf and some pretty cool Healing Temples. We put our prayers in, had some delicious food and picked up some groceries along the way… just another sunday in japan :) See the full set of photos.
