Ugh. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged… my apologies. A combination of some technical difficulties and a mountain of work has put me out of commission. It’s been a humbling month. Lot’s of travel, tough meetings and challenges. Working through a lot of HR issues at the office and learning that you can’t make everyone happy all of the time and people can’t make me happy all of the time. Taking care of JiYoung as best as I can but even that sometimes because difficult… but it’s nothing I can’t handle or don’t want to :) – let’s just say it’s been humbling.

For those of you who have been good checkers of noSpoon, once again I apologize, but I’ve updated everything back to my birthday on May 13th so kick back, get ready to click and enjoy the ride :)

One of the inspiration points of the past couple of months was something called the “Nike Global Celebration!” It was the opening of the Spring 2006 sales meeting which included 6,000 Nike peeps from all over the world and culminated in one of those “only at Nike moments.” It started with guys like Dan Fouts, Bo Jackson and Joan Benoit Samualsen. It continued to build and build from there with household names like Mia Hamm, Pete Sampras and Duke’s Coach K. Then it was the young guns… LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Gold Medalist Justin Gatlin. Then it was the icing on the cake. #23. Michael Jordan. One can’t even put into words or pictures what it was like to be there. Some of the world top athletes coming out to wish our founder Phil Knight farewell and goodluck in retirement. Fucking Amazing. Check out the Crew.

MJ says some touching words about Phil.

Congratulations… all of JiYoung’s hard work and help on my parent’s agenda paid off. One of a kind design. Custom Fit. HOT!
