Sam-Chung-Dong

…one of my favorite places in the city. It’s on the north side which is more traditionally and where the original city started. It’s a small area that borders the palace and is filled with small shops, restaurants and galleries. It would be a great place to live if it weren’t 1+ hours from my office.
Either way, on this warm spring night JiYoung and I ventured out for some of the best authentic indian food at dal and a stroll down the street.

Parent Meeting!!?!?!?!
01.05.2005
Met JiYoung’s parents tonight… apparently a BIG deal here in Korea. We had some traditionally roast duck, smiled a lot and exchanged translated banter over the course of an hour. It was far from painful but not as smooth/natural as you’d want. Definitely one of the drawbacks to loving internationally. More will come from this that I’ll share in future posts but one thing of note was the pre-meeting gift. A little bling-bling for my Eggi…
