21 Days on the Road

Monday, December 27th, 2004

Seoul to Tokyo to Honalulu to Maui back to Honalulu to SF to Boston to NYC back to Boston to NYC to Seoul… ugh. It was great to get back stateside and see everyone but it was a long time to be on the road! I really missed my new home here in Seoul! Good kimchi, my Eggi and nice people among the many things! I got home to JiYoung waiting for me at the airport and a nice relaxing dinner.

Later that week, it was off to the Prain Holiday Party (the PR firm my Eggi works for)…

Pimp Chow!

All Smiles

A wonderful time that ended with my holiday gift (+100 days) from JiYoung. An impressive and personal journal of our lives together which was too special… and a picture of us that makes me even look good!

Parentals

Saturday, December 18th, 2004

Then it was off to SF to see my parents and grandmama… always a pleasure to catch up with the parentals. A nice relaxing time in the East Bay…

From there, it was to Boston for a Merry McCormick Holiday! What every holiday needs… tons of kids, birthday parties, fine wine, lots of gifts, puke, flu-like symptons and 6am wakeup calls!

then it was off to NYC for some more holiday cheer with good friends… I took the Acela down for a pleasant ride past the New England Countryside and through the NYC Skyline.

A week in Maui

Wednesday, December 8th, 2004

Sounds like a trip but when you’re locked in a conference room talking long term strategic planning and marketing… not so fun :) but the view from my hotel room was pretty sweet… here. I did get to take a dip in the Pacific and catch up with some old friends.

Johnny Walker Blue

Wednesday, December 1st, 2004

My Baby’s big night… her Johnny Walker Blue event. The Master Blender from Scotland showed up to show us the proper way to enjoy Whiskey Scotch. Not my drink of choice but I must admit that the Blue Label is pretty dam good.
