EGGI&FISH

ok – so it’s been a while and i’ve been busy it seams… trying to do those new things and get those lists checked off before the end of the summer. My friend Bonnie was up last weekend and brought some fabulous cookies – personal plug -Lick The Spoon Cookies… and we did the tourist thing. The Producers, Nintro 3 times at Great Adventure and a Circle Line Boat Tour of Lower Manhattan. Didn’t cover nearly as much as we wanted to, but it was all good.

On a separate note, saw two movies over the last couple weeks – both action packed; both pop-culture and both delivering on what was promised. First off, Blue Crush – definitely catch it. Amazing surfing shots and some hard core moves on double overheads! The other – XXX – Vin Diesel, my new man (see story to follow) was the man with some sick stunts!! See them both!!

Vin Diesel sighting. Was at the Gym getting a smoothie with the Dawg (mochas) and saw a guy who looked like Vin next to me, but whatever because everyone looks like someone else here. But once the order came out of his mouth – it was definitely him – damn! I was like, “Do people think I’m hangin’ with Vin :)” – Anyway, I got my smoothie and sat outside of the gym with the dawg. He came out shortly and while waiting for his friend, came over and totally played with the dawg – who’s the celebrity dawg now!!! Very cool guy (from my brief encounter) – but check out the article of him in GQ the September issue – interesting insights.

Just one of the many reason NYC is a great place to live. Tonight, rollerbladed down the west side along the river on a beautiful night and stopped to watch Trapeze School – YES – Trapeze School. Right there off the West Side highway – a school to teach you how to trapeze. It looks amazing and I’m signed up. If I don’t kill myself, I’ll let you know how it goes!
