People see something different and it scares them. So them the beauty in that difference and it becomes a part of them… and they are no longer scared.

a “Because we can world”? Is that what it’s all coming down to? Are things so easy through technology that we do things just because we can. Are things so easy that less thought is put into projects because it’s not a big deal – we can make another – it can be fixed? Remember, the ability to win is diminished by those unwilling to prepare.

Still feeling uninspired but feel something good coming down the shoot. Our Forced Fun Outing to the Mets game actually ended up being pretty good – most know how I hate those kinds of things, but sometimes it works out for the better. Happy Hump day and be inspired. Today i’m thinking about death. Not in a particularly unhealthy way, just something that has been a recurring theme recently for reasons that don’t need to be explained here. But in thinking about the end of life, for me, it just underscores what so many great people have said in the past. Buddha teaches us to work to open others to their own potential. Ghandi asked us to be the change we want to see. Change. Enlightenment. Compassion. These are the things that make our time here important – so I ask you to LIGHTEN UP! I know, absurd coming from me, but LIGHTEN UP! Say something nice to someone today. Be a little more understanding. Do something unexpected for someone. Help someone you don’t know. Leave the office early to JUST BE!
